The Faculty Academic English Program (FAE) provides English support courses to Bilkent students in their faculties and schools, ranging from content-based, academic skills courses in the freshman year to graduate writing courses for MA and PhD students.

Instructors in the FAE Program provide academic skills support to a wide range of students in diverse faculties. They work cooperatively to design meaningful courses which emphasize high standards of academic writing achievement through challenging materials, active classroom learning, individual tutorial support and extensive feedback on student products. In addition, in order to meet the needs of specific departments, instructors often work closely with faculty staff.
