Dr. Tijen Akşit joined Bilkent University School of English Language (BUSEL) in 1989. She worked as an instructor both in the Preparatory and Post-Preparatory programs, as a Curriculum Coordinator, Head of Teaching Unit, and the Heads of Teaching Units Coordinator in the Preparatory Program, involved in curriculum delivery, curriculum development and program management. Dr. Akşit holds a B.A. and an M.Sc. in English Language Teaching, and a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences with a concentration in Educational Administration and Planning.
